J&K Grameen Bank proudly celebrated the 50th anniversary of World Environment Day at its Head Office, Narwal. As part of the celebration, the Chairman of the Bank, Sh. Sanjay Gupta, ceremonially planted a sapling in the Bank’s beautifully landscaped garden symbolising the Bank’s dedication to combating climate change and creating a sustainable planet. The Chairman emphasized the significance of environmental conservation and highlighted the Bank’s aim to integrate the sustainable principles into every aspect of its operations. By celebrating World Environment Day, the Bank hopes to inspire its employees, customers and the wider community to join forces in safeguarding our planet for future generations. General Manager- Head Office, Chief of Audit, Inspection and Vigilance department along with all the HODs/Incharges were also present on the occasion.
